Briefing on Update

This release focuses on expanding what you can do inside the app, giving you more trading flexibility, broader network coverage, and a limited-time offer to help more people get started with self-custody.

With 5.34, you can hold, receive, and transact on Monad directly from your Tangem wallet. Your assets are secured by the same hardware-grade protection you rely on across every other network Tangem supports. If you've been following Monad's development, now is the time to have your self-custodial setup ready. Read more about supported networks in Tangem.

Swap any Token

Previously, the Swap feature in Tangem was limited to tokens you had already added to your main screen. If a token wasn't pinned, you couldn't swap it.

That limitation is now gone.

In 5.34, you can search for and swap any supported token directly, without adjusting your portfolio view first. Whether you're acting on a market opportunity or rebalancing into a token you don't normally hold, you can do it in a few taps from wherever you are in the app.

This is the kind of improvement that sounds small but changes how the app feels to use day-to-day. Self-custody shouldn't mean working around your own wallet.

Monad network is now supported

Tangem now supports the Monad network, one of the most closely watched new blockchains in crypto right now.

Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built for high throughput and low transaction fees. It's designed to handle the kind of on-chain activity that existing networks have struggled to scale, while remaining fully compatible with Ethereum tooling and infrastructure.

The network has generated significant developer and community interest ahead of its mainnet launch, and early ecosystem activity is already building.
