13 easy steps to set up your Tangem Wallet with a seed phrase

You need an NFC-enabled smartphone and your Tangem Cards.

  1. Download and open the official Tangem app.

  1. Select Scan card.

  1. Tap the first card on your phone to scan it.

  1. Select Other options.

  1. Tap Generate seed phrase.

Note: Write down these 12 or 24 words on a piece of paper and keep it somewhere safe. You will only be shown this seed phrase once. Do not take a screenshot or a picture of it.

  1. Tap Continue.

  1. Check whether you have written down your seed phrase by entering the words in the correct order. Tap Create wallet and scan the card.

  1. Tap Add a backup card.

  1. Scan the second card (and the third card if you have one) with your smartphone and finalize the backup.

  1. Tap Continue to enter an access code and Enter your access code.

  1. Click Scan the primary card (15 sec) and all backup cards.

  1. Tap Continue to my wallet.
